Tampa Catholic senior Nicole Carroll received an invite to the prestigious Millrose Games in New York City after vaulting 13'0 at the Jimmy Carnes Indoor Meet. Thursday, she didn't have her best day vaulting around 11'0 in the junior women's open vault. However, she was invited back for one more chance to compete at the main event on Saturday. The 2A two-time state champion responded with a new personal best of 13'1.5", a new Florida indoor record, and one of the top vaults ever in the state!

"This comeback performance is the heart and never give up spirit of high school athletics. She was unbelievable. She also had one close miss at 13'5.5".
