St. Thomas Aquinas class of 2016 sprinter Khalifa St. Fort poses with coach Ato Boldon at the IAAF World Youth Championships press conference. St. Fort, whose mother is from Trinidad and Tobago like Boldon, decided to represent the country in Cali, Colombia.
After winning the T&T Junior National Championship, it was onto the world stage, where she finished with a silver medal behind Candace Hill of Georgia in a new personal best time of 11.19s. Her mark is the fastest in Florida this year and ranks second nationally.
