The most popular sprinter in the Sunshine Stat this season could very well have been 8th grader Tyrese Cooper. Cooper, set meet records at the FLYRA Middle School State Championships, and followed that up with a personal best (freshman record) 46.44 at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Earlier this month, he continued his dominance winning the 100,200, and 400m at the USATF JO Region 16 Championship before picking up some AAU National titles.
