Tyrese Cooper At Bob Hayes: Third Track Meet In Seven Days!

Freshman phenom Tyrese Cooper of Miami Gardens Xpress TC/American High School just can't stay away from the track. In his third meet in seven days, Cooper won the 200m and 400m in 20.96 (+1.1) and 46.51 at the Bob Hayes Invitational. Both times are just off his nation-leading marks.

In the girls' sprints, two top-ranked juniors in Twanisha Terry (US #1 200m, 23.72) and Symone Mason (US #1 400m, 53.52) took on the 200m. Terry won her signature event in 23.72, as Mason took second (23.91) and fellow junior Ka Tia Seymour placed third (23.94).

However, Seymour took down Terry in the 100m, 11.72 to 11.76.

Mason placed just second in her signature event, the 400m, to Georgia's Makenzie Dunmore, in a 53.79-53.96 contest.
