How do I get there?

Here is a map on Google I made.  Please note that buses park at the soccer/softball complex off of Jay Jay Road (noted by the bus on the map).  Cars and other vehicles should park at Brevard Community College, entering at either of the two entrances (denoted by the green and blue pins on the map).

How much is parking?

Parking fee is $5.

What is the course like?  Can I get a course map?

Please check out the course and print your own map.  We will have 5K maps available in each packet.  8K maps please print them... they are color so we can't make copies to include these.

One minor tweak was made.  Anna will be speaking 15 minutes earlier than originally announced at 7:15 instead of 7:30 and the coaches meeting will be after that.

* = Coaches Meeting is completely optional.  You only need to attend if you want to ask questions of the senior meet staff.  The Friday afternoon meeting will be held at the starting line.  The Friday night coaches meeting will be held in the gym immediately following Anna Willard's speech.

Official meet t-shirts are available for sale at the meet headquarters for $15.  We have white, gray, pink, blue, and yellow available for sale.  The yellow has previouslly been reserved only for meet staff and every year people say they want to buy them.  This is the first (and possibly only) year that they will be available for sale.  Meet headquarters will be the big tent.

Food & Concessions

Astronaut High School will be selling food and beverages to benefit Project Graduation and the Junior Class.  In addition to snacks they'll have some dinner type options on Friday night and some bagels and cofee and breakfast options on Saturday morning.

Vendors and Other Booths/Displays

Track Shack will be selling shoes and other race gear.  We have a local sunscreen maker who will be distributing free sun screen.  Brevard Community College will be providing information about their school.  Astronaut Project Graduation will be doing a 50-50 raffle.

The Nike Truck will be there and Nike will also have a special custom built display on the stage of the gym.  It will be very cool, here is an article about that.

Packet Pickup

Packets and race numbers will be available for pick-up starting around 1:00-1:30 on Friday and just after 6AM on Satruday.   Look for the big circus tent, which is meet headquarters.


We will have medical staff and ALS units on the scene.  They will be near the end of the finish line chute.  Water or gatorade will also be available to finishers in the same area.
