Winter Park senior and Air Force signee Greg Skage has cemented himself in Florida pole vault history. The Air Force signee who cleared a FL#3 All-Time mark of 16'9 on Monday and barely missed attempts at 17'3 finally hit the mark at the Lake Brantley Invitational. Club coach Bill Cashman told us today he thinks Greg had a lot of room to spare on this particular vault and that another nine inches is a lot to improve, but that the pair will do everything they can to get as close to or over the 18 foot barrier.
