Seniors Symone Mason, Twanisha Terry, and Katia Seymour produced two of the best sprint finals we've ever seen in Florida history at the Bob Hayes Invitational. Mason, an University of Miami signee clocked a PR, new meet record and US#1 time of 11.24 with Terry a Southern Cal signee, and Seymour an FSU signee in US#3 marks of 11.39 and 11.49 respectively. Mason's time according to Jack Shepard's all-time list ranks 13th ever outdoors tied with Jeneba Tarmoh (2013) and fellow Floridian Teahna Daniels who is now at the University of Texas (2015).

Not to be out done the trio ran even faster in the 200m dash headlined once again by Mason who dropped a blazing US#1 23s time with Terry and Seymour right behind in US#2 and US#3 marks of 23.21 and 23.37.

The time was a new Bob Hayes meet record and 23rd EVER in high school history ahead of former St. Thomas Aquinas standout and Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross who ran 23.01 back in 2002.
