Sophomore Zahria Allers had perhaps the best performance for STA sprinting to a US#10 200m time of 24.71s. She was 6th at last year's state meet and ran a wind legal 23.96 at Flo Golden South. Teammate Hannah Lowenstein also scored points for the team with a 7th place showing in the high jump.

"My coaching staff and I are pleased with our athletes performance," Armenteros said after the meet. "Considering it was our first time running indoor, the athletes handled it very well. We had a few hiccups, mostly technical, from the inexperience of running indoor. My assistant coaches did a good job of getting the athletes prepare for the meet. We enjoyed our experience at Texas A&M."
