Bolles junior Charles Hicks picked up right where he left off following the 2017 cross country season. Hicks, won the 2A Cross Country Finals and was 9th at NXN running alongside his Bulldog teammates. Recently, the group hit the track in Staten Island. New York at the Ocean Breeze High School Invitational. Hicks came away with a win in the two mile and a US#3 time of 9:18.90
Hicks opened up the outdoor season last year at the Bulldog Classic with a PR of 9:15.39 for 3,200m and ended up 4th at state. He was 6th in 2017 in the 1,600m run as well. If this is any indication of his fitness level, we could see some very impressive times from the junior.
