Rothman Receives National Coach Of The Year Honor

After three decades of being heralded on the local and state level, Richard Rothman of Delray Beach, FL was honored on the National High School Athletic Coaches Association’s (NHSACA) biggest stage last night. He was recognized as the NHSACA 2012 National Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year. The NHSACA Convention, which took place in Fargo, North Dakota, brought together the best high school coaches from around the country in a range of school sanctioned sports. Rothman was a finalist for the Girls Cross Country title along with seven other coaches.

“This is a great and humbling honor,” said Rothman. “I truly feel validated for all of the work our athletes have done over the years. Without their efforts and commitment, I could not have received this great distinction.”
