In his first Bob Hayes Invitational ever, then freshman Tyrese Cooper broke the meet record of 46.61 set by Olympic gold medalist Arman Hall in 2011. Cooper conquered the Raines High School oval one tenth faster than Hall did in 46.51. Take a look at the 50 best performances in EVERY event in the meet's long and storied history.

Mater Academy 8th grader Jinah Mickens-Malik already has a state title to her credit after winning the 3A 800m run in 2016. Flash forward to 2017 and she has run 2:12.15 at the Ferguson Falcon Invitational, the best mark in the classification.
