The Westminster Academy boys pulled out a close win last year at the 1A state finals over The First Academy. It was WA's first boys' state tile since 2008, and it was very apparent that it was a team effort since some scores didn't go their way, and others were more than they expected. Things are a little different this season with transfers coming in such as Jordan Cabral (SR) from Calvary Christian who's going to be a big help in the jumps and on the sprints.

After the state win they have a lot of seniors stepping up to the plate and being leaders for the new guys, letting them know that there's a goal they're trying to reach. Some of the boys have been waiting for season to start as they didn't play their usual line up of sports just so they could focus on getting better for this season. The Westminster Academy boys have Ryan Moore, Sanders Desir, Andrew Carrie, Hozie Hankerson and Casey McCracken leading the charge towards the ring!
