The National Training Center will host over three dozen teams this weekend for the NTC Cross Country Invitational. On the girl's side Montverde Academy is coming off a major victory at the Buffalo Invitational where they beat 3A runner-up Chiles by four points and 1A favorite Citrus Park Christian by nine. They are lead by Lily Henne and Kendyl Cardwell. Also, in the mix will be Isabella Bartczak who won her first meet of the weekend at the ERAU Asics Classic, Lake Minneola's Cadi Rowe and Elle Kunze, as well as Sinkenesh Parker of Circle Christian. The Centurions are the 1A runner-up from 2016 and should be in the top two as a team.

On the boy's side Tyson Harper and the Oviedo Lions ranked first in 4A, are the individual and team favorites. New Smyrna Beach has a solid top three in O'Gorman, Meyer, and Horning. Others in the mix include Bryce Bell of Lyman, Noah Quintana of Lake Minneola, and Timothy Doyle of Freedom.
