What an amazing Boys 3200 race that we just witnessed!  10 guys guy under 9:20, 6 under 9:10 with Barker and Mizereck battling it out the the final 200m all the way to the line.  Mizereck Nips Barker @ FSU Relays 3200, 9:02.87 to 9:03.03.   Pablo Alvarez, Kayla Parker, Ft. Walton Beach, Jana Stolting, and others also had some great showings.  Check out the highlight summary in this article. Kayla Parker, a senior at Pt. St. Joe High School, has had an absolutley stunning high school career.  She has earned a whopping 8 state championships with her senior season yet to go and is also part of what has become a strong track & field tradition at Pt. St. Joe.  With her final season with the Tiger Sharks fast approaching, we talked with Ms. Parker about it.

Sometimes athletes have a great double with two killer times in a single meet. Rarely you see a superb triple. Well today at Bay High School's Tommy Oliver Stadium Kayla Parker of Port St. Joe dominated in four events! In a relatively low key meet, Parker breezed to wins in the 100m (12.27), 200m (25.61), 100H (15.10), and Long Jump (18-1). All are excellent showings at this first week of the season and all now occupy the #1 spot in the state rankings, except for the 200 time which is second. Complete Results from the Panhandle Open
