Florida sprinters Jan'Taijah Ford, Kayla Johnson, and Daneisha Woodside went to the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic and posted the top three times in the nation in the 400m dash.

2A state champion in the 100mH and high jump, Tiara McMinn of Miami Jackson, makes her mark on the 60mH at the David Oliver Classic. McMinn defeated several other Florida hurdlers in a FL#1 time of 8.66 which ranks as the 14th best in the country. We take a look at the girls indoor leaderboard in every event.
Florida's fastest went into North Carolina and put on a show in the Tarheel State with numerous state leaders, nationally ranked times, and first place finishes in the process at the David Oliver Classic. Scroll through our slideshow to see who had some of the top performances from the weekend.
Chandler Bergeron of Virginia moved to Florida for her senior year and is attending IMG Academy. The senior tallied two wins at the LSU High School Classic in FL#1 times of 5:27.35 (1,600), and 11:40.15 (3,200m). She heads up our leaderboard in the distance events, but what about the sprints, hurdles, relays, and field events? We look at the best marks this season and what it takes to be number one.

Different event. Same story. Florida is as deep with talent in the quarter-mile as it is the 100 and 200 meter dash. Northeast sophomore Jan'Taijah Ford won the 3A title in 2016 in 54.01s and followed that up with a PR of 53.77 to win Flo Golden South. Ford is one of five girls returners to have gone faster than 54 seconds. Take a look at the top 100 performances led by Maiah Walkers 53.27s to win the 2A Region 3 Championship.
Four Florida sprinters made the trip to the west coast for the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle with three athletes Jan'Taijah Ford, Brandon Cachon, and Chauncy Smart all finishing in the top three in their respective races, while Janaya Chambers was 7th in the girls 400m dash.
