Any formula that ranks me at the top is arcane and flawed. Re-Count! I suspect tampering. Maybe this scandalous and anomalous result will lead to the abolishment of the "Site Contributors" tabulations-- which I would celebrate.

Nevertheless, this ranks amongst the greatest achievements in sports. As Michael Jordan said in a commercial about the Dream Team recently: {paraphrasing} "I am the greatest, and I will never be duplicated again".

@BConvey Hah... No tampering involved. I will continue to tweak the formula, but I think it's a cool feature. Little secret that many have realized: you get rewarded pretty well when you spark a discussion that gains popularity.

Very good! I'm not going to try to post just to beat Bill! I agree with Bill that the system is a little akilter because he did not start the thread. He was simply the first contributor.

I had noticed that a thread contributor received more points if his/her thread became popular. Generally a good facet, I think. However, being the first contributor to a thread started by someone else maybe not as good. He has been steadily gaining points without posting anything.

Of course, I may have done something similar without thinking about it as I was way out in front of everyone for awhile and I wasn't sure why. I was watching closely to see how they were earned. I'm always intrigued by the "nuts and bolts.

I've definitely calmed down on the points as I have learned how they can be earned. Bill, I haven't posted a single photo either.

It's all good. Bill is as good a leader as anyone.

you guys are such runners....looking at the watch......when I looked at the numbers last, it was close enough to be a "photo finish".

Since I've been nursing injuries and have had no "numbers" to watch. The Top 10 to the right has sparked my competitive nature in me. I have moved up 2 spots.....Is there anything for finishing in the top 10?
