2012 VIPER TRACK & FIELD CLASSIC
Friday March 30th, 2012 (MDCPS - teacher planning day)
We now have all 12 schools confirmed for the Viper Classic.
Reserve your spot in this year's edition of the Viper Classic. Come compete in our brand new track. If you plan to have your team take part in our meet please email me ASAP at danny16099@yahoo.com, limit of 12 schools, so HURRY! Our goal is to have a great meet ready to go on Friday March 30th!

MEET REGISTRATION:
Flrunners Registration System
-Entries Due by Sunday March 25th @ 11:59
-Up to 3 entries per school per event and One Relay Team per school
-Limit of 12 High Schools
ENTRY FEE:
$80 per school (boys/girls), or $40 if only running one gender

-Top 3 in each event will medal
-Team Trophies to Champion and Runner-up Teams (Boys/Girls)
Event Start Times: (after main starting times all events will be on a rolling schedule)
-8:00 AM Coaches Meeting (at the starting line)
-8:20 AM Girls 4x800 Relay / Boys 4x800 Relay
-8:20 AM Field Events:
-1st group:
Girls HJ/Boys SP/Girls TJ/Boys LJ/Girls Discus begin after Boys 4x800)
-2nd group (Boys HJ/ Boys TJ/ Girls SP/ Boys Discus/ Girls LJ)
(sorry no pole vault - we don't have a pit)
-11:00 AM Running Event Finals

Field Events: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump and Discus will have 3 attempts and will be conducted as a final. The Shot Put only will have 3 attempts and Top 8 will move to the finals for additional 3 attempts (only event that will not mess with the rest of the race).
The Following are the cut off marks for the field events:
Long Jump: 16'0" Boys, 14'0" Girls
Triple Jump: 35'0" Boys, 28'0" Girls
Shot Put: 35'0" Boys, 25'0" Girls
Discus Throw: 85'0" Boys, 65'0" Girls
High Jump: Boys Starting at 5'2", Girls Starting at 4'4"
