21st ANNUAL SPRING TRACK CLASSIC SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 27, 2013
The Central Florida Gliders, the areas oldest youth track and field and cross country club, will host its 21st Annual Spring Track Classic on April
27, 2013, at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs.
Events are open to athletes from youth through masters level (30 and over). Events include racewalk, 100- to 3000-meter running events, relays, hurdles, high jump, long jump, discus, and shot put.
As a USATF-sanctioned event, marks and times in the open division can be used to qualify for USA Outdoor Championships.
Medals will be awarded for first through third places in each age group. Ribbons will be awarded for fourth through sixth places.
Previous Spring Track Classic meets have drawn more than 1000 participants plus spectators from across the state, southeast, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom, according to Central Florida Gliders Founder and Executive Director Craig D. Wise. We will be celebrating our 21st year of hosting this
quality meet.
Interested participants should go to www.cfgliders.com for more information. Registration is available online only at www.coacho.com. Entry fee is $6 per event. Registration closes Thursday April 25 at 11:59 p.m. No same-day registration will be accepted. A nominal entry fee for spectators will be charged.
