Yesterday, I traveled from Portland, Oregon, to Paris, France, from USA Outdoor nationals to here to compete in a few European meets. The slightly warm lobby of this hotel feels a lot more comfortable than the cramped red-eye flight I caught yesterday.

Trayvon Bromell makes first World team Jun 30, 2015

19-year-old Trayvon Bromell became the fastest teenager in history when he ra 9.84 in the 100m prelims at the USATF Senior National Championships. He is the 10th-fastest man of all-time and the fourth-fastest American. He finished runner-up to Tyson Gay in the finals to become the first teenager to represent Team USA at the World Championships in the 100m. The Florida native just finished his sophomore year at Baylor.

Kaylin Whitney, 22.47 200m World Youth Record - 2015 USATF Jr. C Jun 28, 2015

Rising high school senior Kaylin Whitney placed fourth in the Senior Women's 200m, running 22.47 to set a new World Youth Best. She talks about being disappointed to miss out on top three and her impressions of Candace Hill, who ran 10.98 to break her national high school record in the 100m.

EUGENE, Oregon -- The USATF Championship Series rolls to a final stop in Eugene, as TrackTown USA plays host to the 2015 USATF Outdoor Championships, June 25-28, at Historic Hayward Field.
