Middle School State Championship Information Posted Mar 9, 2007

Looking over the past results and record book of the Middle School State Track & Field Championship (now in its sixth year) looks like a who's who of high school stars of the past few years.  The meet has come a long way (and still has a ways to go), but has always stayed true to its goal of bringing together the top middle school talent in the state of Florida to one place at one time--a rarity for this scattered and disconnected age bracket.Five regional qualifiers take place around the state during the month of April:  Miami, Melbourne, Clermont, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee.  Athletes and relays compete for a spot in the state championship on May 5 in Clermont.  At the regional meets the top four in each event, plus any meeting an auto-qualifying standard,  secure their spot in Clermont! Please make sure your team is signed up!  We welcome schools, track clubs, and individuals alike!  We want the best of the best lined up to crown that state champion and give a preview of the high school greats to come! The meet web site has been completed updated with more information and more is yet to come:
