Note: This year we will be flip flopping the course. The start will be where the finish was and the finish will be where the start was. The rest of the course will remain the same.
BOOKKEEPER
To enter this event you must have a password for flrunners online entry. To obtain the password your bookkeeper will need to do the following.(Flyer attached above) Cut the top portion of this flyer out (see cut line below) and send with a check in the mail to B3R Promotions Atten :Dusty Smith 9151 NW 40th Street Chiefland, FL 32626. On the check please type the coaches e-mail so I will know who to send the password to. If paying with a credit card please e-mail me (dusty@halfmiletiming.com) the individual who is paying e-mail. I will then send a PayPal invoice via e-mail, once I have confirmation of the payment I will then send the password to the individual that paid. W-9 form is available upon request.

Coach Information
The Florida Horse Park Invitational will consist of a High School & 2k & 3K for ages 14 and under. The high school 5k will have a Varsity and JV race (NO UNATTACHED RUNNERS). Varsity races are allowed to run 10 athletes and JV unlimited entries. The Elementary & middle school races will have an boys and girls 3k race for ages 9 to 14. This year we will add a 8 & under 2k race that will be combined with boys and girls. There will be no assigned starting boxes; it will be first come first serve. The varsity races will be cut off at 30 minutes. If your athlete gets caught by the following race they will not be in the results. All out of state schools are welcome; please e-mail me asap if you are coming so I can get the sanctioning process going for your state.

Online Entry
Registration will be on www.flrunners.com. To be able to register your team, you must pay for your team first in order to get the password to open up the registration. Please see above for those instructions. Registration will end Tuesday, September 6th at midnight. High School, Elementary & Middle school coaches please enter your entire roster, not just your Varsity runners. Any additions or changes after the entry deadline and on race day is $5 per change, this includes spelling errors as well as additions. For any questions please e-mail me at dusty@halfmiletiming.com.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick up will start when the course opens Friday at 3:00 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. It will open again Saturday morning at 5:30 a.m. when the gates open. Coaches must pay online to enter no checks will be accepted the day of the event. Coaches please make sure you get your packets 30 minutes before your race to ensure enough time to get the timing chips signed out and onto your runners shoes. Coaches will be in charge of returning the timing chips back where they picked their packets up.

Parents Information
Parking
There will be a $5.00 per vehicle charge for spectator parking. Team buses and team vans are free, if a parent has an athlete in the car they still have to pay $5. Coaches please make sure your parents are aware of this!

Event shirts will be on sale for $12.00 pre- sale till August 28th 2016. Day of the event will be $15.00 cash $16.00 credit card and in limited quantity at the event .To be guaranteed a t-shirt you can pre order by e-mailing dusty@halfmiletiming.com. Youth sizes will be pre sale only! We will need team name, quantity & shirt sizes.
Order must be sent and paid for by Sunday August 28th. No exceptions!!!

Athletes Information
Course
Welcome to your p.r. course. This course is fast with long straights, small rolling hills and packed grass. The main field is a international horse cross country course. This course will be a great start to your season to boost the confidence of your new and experienced runners. The mile and 2 mile is located within walking distance of the start and finish giving spectators maximum viewing spots to watch their athlete. To view the course, go to the registration site we have two amazing videos to show off our course.

Event Lapel Pins
A great addition to your varsity letter or for that track bag to show off where you have raced. Event pins will be $5 cash $6 credit card. You can also pre order these pins with your event t-shirts to be guaranteed a pin. These too will be in limited quantity at the meet so make sure to get yours early.

Team Awards
High School Varsity and AAU Teams top 2 overall teams Boys and Girls will get custom team awards. Winners will receive a 3ft Horse Shoe with event logo and runner up will receive a 2ft Horse Shoe with event logo.
Instant results as you finish
Half-Mile Timing will have a scoreboard scrolling individual times as the runners finish. After the last individual finishes each race you can find the results on halfmiletiming.com.
Custom Mile Markers
All 3 mile markers will be 8 tall so you can see them. This course the start, finish, 1 mile and 2 mile are all within 400 meters of each other making it very spectator and coach friendly.
