Spectator Entry and Parking:
PLEASE NOTE Parking Information TBD (To Be Determined). We are currently evaluating our parking situation on our campus and more details will be forthcoming.

Once at the Track & Field facility, spectator entrance is on the Northeast side of Newman Stadium. Please enter and exit through that gate. As per FHSAA Policy, there will be a charge of $7.00 for Gate Admission for all spectators. Only FHSAA State Series Passes are accepted. Athletes and Coaches will NOT be charged, but athletes must have their uniform on. All Spectators, Coaches, and Non-Participating Athletes are not allowed inside the fenced in track and field area. All events are viewable from any point alongside the fence. For certain field events, a coachs box may be established according to meet officials. Most of the gates around the track will be locked down. Please do NOT jump any fences.

Team Tents and Warm-up Areas:
Team Tents may be placed on Kuhn Practice Field on the Eastside of Newman Stadium. No Tents are allowed in the Stands. Warm-ups may take place around the Kuhn Practice Field, Dickey Field and the E.C. Smith Tennis Complex, and other areas surrounding the stadium. NO participant or spectator may go through Campus, especially during the school day. Security Personnel are very present on our campus. Your athlete and/or team risks disqualification for accessing unauthorized areas.

Trainers:
Athletic trainers will be provided on site. The trainers will not provide massages. They are there to help facilitate immediate injuries. The trainers will be set-up near the finish line under the trees and the training room facility can easily be accessed.

11:00am - 4 x 800m Relay (2 sections)

Advancement Rules:
The first four contestants in each individual event and the first four teams in each relay event will advance to the State Championships. All Ties will be broken for advancing.

Field Events (Horizontal Jumps and Throws):
The best 9 distances in each preliminary event (first 3 throws and jumps) will move on to finals for an additional 3 throws or jumps. Best mark from all 6 distances will be scored. All legal marks will be measured.

Preliminary Events:
The top three from each heat plus the next two fastest times will move on to finals.

Non-Preliminary Events:
All heats against time, with the fastest heat scheduled second. The fastest 4 athletes/relays will advance to the State Meet

Alternates will be decided at the Coachs Meeting.

Concessions and Hospitality:
The concession stand will be open throughout the day. There will be coachs hospitality food available with location to be announced at the coachs meeting.

Awards:
The Regional Champion and Runner-up will receive trophies at the conclusion of the event. The top 8 athletes / relay teams in each event will receive ribbons. In an attempt to reward athletic accomplishment, we will present the top 8 athletes on an award stand in the field on the front straight-away following each event. Please listen for announcements, especially the field events, for the athletes to report to the award ceremony location.
