Shot, Disc, Long Jump and Triple Jump Field event athletes will compete in prelims and finals in the same night. Athletes will be seeded according to the best mark sent in by their coach. Each athlete will get 3 attempts. Top 8 from the East and top 8 from the West will advance to the Finals. In the Finals each athlete will get 3 more attempts. East flights will go first to allow West schools more time to arrive.
High Jump and Pole Vault Athletes will be seeded according to the best mark sent in by their coach. Each event will run to completion the day it is scheduled. East flights will go first to allow West schools more time to arrive.

4 x 800 Meter Relay will be run East Girls, West Girls, West Boys, and East Boys. (East Girls will run first to give the West more time to get there and West Boys will run before East Boys to give the West Boys more recovery before the 1600m).
Qualify for Thursday Top 8 from the East and top 8 from the West in the running prelims will advance to Thursday. Time and place will be used to advance to fill the 8 places.
800 Meters Top 10 times from the East and top 10 times from the West in the 800 will automatically qualify for the finals on Thursday and will not run on Wednesday. All others will run their final on Wednesday at the scheduled time. Those who run Wednesday may score if they beat a time from Thursdays heat.
1600 and 3200 Meters All West 1600 Meter Runners will run on Wednesday and East 1600 Meter runners will run on Thursday. All East 3200 Meter runners will run on Wednesday and West 3200 Meter runners will run on Thursday.

Running finals top 8 athletes from the East and top 8 athletes from the West on Wednesday will be seeded according to their place and time on Wednesday to be run in 2 heats, one East and one West.
800 Meter Run Top 10 athletes from the East and top 10 athletes from the West with verifiable times in the 800 Meter Run will automatically qualify for the finals on Thursday (we will use the posted performance list which is to come). Athletes not in the top 10 in the 800 Meter Run will run on Wednesday and are eligible for a place if their time from Wednesday is faster than the 8th place time on Thursday.
1600 and 3200 Meters All West 1600 Meter Runners will run on Wednesday and East 1600 Meter runners will run on Thursday. All East 3200 Meter runners will run on Wednesday and West 3200 Meter runners will run on Thursday.
4 x 400 Meter Relays Since the East and West have more than 8 teams, we will look at the performance list to verify times in seeding the teams. There must be a minimum of 3 teams in the slow heat.
4 x 100 Meter Relays Since this is one meet spread over two days, athletes are still limited to 4 events. If an athlete is entered in a prelim event but does not advance to competition on Thursday, that still counts as one of their events.
Scratches Since this is one meet spread over two days, athletes that scratch from an event are not able to compete in any additional events (i.e. an athlete does not show up for their 100 prelim on Wednesday, they cannot compete in any other events Wednesday or Thursday)
Entries Each school is allowed 3 entries per running or field event and one relay in each relay event. Online Entry must be done by Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 by 11:59 pm. Website for online entries is: www.flrunners.com
Fees - Entry fees are $100 per school. Please make checks payable to Winter Park High School.
Scratch Meeting/Changes We will do our scratch meeting online. Entries are due by 11:59 pm on Saturday, April 2 on FLRunners.com. Entries will close and performance lists will be posted by 9:00 pm on Sunday, April 3, at which time entries will be reopened for changes. Coaches have until 9:00 pm on Monday, April 4th to make final changes to entries at which time entries become final. A new performance list along with lane assignments will be posted by noon on Tuesday, April 5 so coaches know assignments before going to practice on Tuesday. Note, you will not be able to make substitutions on race day or make additional scratches or changes after the final deadline on Monday.
