Dear Coaches:
You and your track teams are cordially invited to participate in the 9th Annual Hallandale Invitational Track and Field Meet to be held at Hallandale H.S. Saturday, March 4, 2017. This meet is sanctioned by the FHSAA. All FHSAA track and field rules will be enforced. Teams must register for the meet through Flrunners.com. Each school will be limited to (4) contestants in each individual running event, (3) contestants in each Shot Put, Discuss, Pole Vault, and High Jump, field events and (3) contestants in the Long Jump and Triple Jump. Entry fee of $100.00 per team or $200.00 per school, $25.00 for individuals school must register individual athlete, $25.00 late fee may be paid at the packet pick up during the coaches meeting. Checks may be made payable to Hallandale H.S. Track & Field. Parking: $5.00 and General Admission: $7.00 for the entire meet. Entry Comp (3) Coaches are per team.
1. All PAYMENTS must be submitted no later than Friday February 24, 2017, $25.00 late fee.
2. ENTRY must be submitted no later than Wednesday March 1, 2017 by 12:00pm. Include your athletes best times, heights, and distances in meet competition for 2017 season on Floridarunners.com.
3. COACHES MEETING will be held at 8:00am Saturday March 4, 2017 in the north bleachers.
4. Spikes no longer than 1/8 will be permitted on track. The discus and shot put surfaces are made of concrete.
5. Starting height for Pole Vault will be 90 for boys and 80 for girls. The starting height for High Jump will be 58 for boys and 48 for girls.
6. Coaches are requested to keep their athletes off the track and out of the infield. Warm up area will be behind the athletes bleachers. Bleacher and tent area will be available for teams.
7. The 4x800m relay will be run as a final promptly at 8:30am and Field Events 9:00am
8. All field events are final. Participants will be allowed (4) trials in the LJ, TJ, DT, SP and CUTOFF marks will be determined after the first flight has concluded.
9. Meet timer will be Ken Key (Servant Spirit Timing Services)
10. Meet Manager John W. Battle III H.H.S.
11. No Blocks for the 400m Prelims
