Meet Information

Attention: Head Track and Field Coaches
Class 2A District 4 - Meet Information
When: Wednesday, April 12th 2016 at The Bolles School
Who: Bishop Kenny, Bolles, Clay, Episcopal, Pedro Menendez, Ridgeview, Wolfson, Westside.

Registration: You may enter up to four athletes and one relay team per event. Each school must use FLRunners.com for online entries to the District meet. This is the same entry system we will be using for The Bulldog Classic and for Florida Relays this year. To register for this years meet, go to www.flrunners.com and find the meet on the schedule. You can then register your athletes using performances found in the database. Entries are due no later than 11:59 p.m. Sunday, April 9th. FLRunners will not process entries after that time. 12:15 p.m.: Coaches Meeting
1:00 p.m.: Field Events & 4 x 800 Girls LJ, Boys LJ, Girls PV, Boys HJ, Girls SP, Boys Discus
3:00 p.m.: Running Prelims 100H/110H, 100m, 400m, 300H, 200m
6:00 p.m.: Running Finals
100H/110H, 100m, 1600, 4X100, 400m, 300H, 800, 200, 3200, 4X400

Seeding/Scratch meeting at Bolles (in the Colmery Skills Center) on Monday, April 10th at 6:00 p.m.: This meeting is to check on lane assignments, number of heats, spelling errors as a result of the entries online, etc. You may scratch athletes at this meeting with no penalty. You may not make any additions to your lineup at this meeting. Any scratches that occur after this meeting will cause that athlete to be scratched form the entire meet, including relays. FLRunners.com will require you to enter the athletes for your relays. You may, of course, substitute eligible athletes on relays during the meet.
Coaches meeting will be held in the Colmery Skills Center (under the football stadium next to tennis courts) at 12:15 p.m. on the day of the meet. Remember, that athletes scratched at this meeting may not compete in any events, including relays.

** The only people allowed on the infield are athletes while they are competing and meet officials while they are officiating - that includes staying behind the fence near the high jump/long jump area. There will be no exceptions for this. Once the field events are completed, there should be only running officials on the infield.

** Teams may set up tents, tarps, etc, behind the visitor's bleachers. Teams may not set up anywhere near the track-that includes the high jump, long jump, and pole vault area.

A Concession stand will be open during the meet.
Parking: Before 4:00 p.m. at Bolles is very difficult. All team buses need to park in the special events parking area by the football stadium. All cars need to be parked on San Jose Blvd.

Referee and Jury of Appeals. The meet referee will be Nathan Stanley.

The Jury of Appeals will be made up of:
Coach Hunt (Episcopal)

Coach Butler (Westside)
Coach McCoy (Menendez)
Coach Bergman (Clay)

In the event that the issue involves an athlete from one of these coachs schools, that coach will be replaced on the Jury of Appeals by the Meet Director, Dan Dearing (Bol
