Boys follow girls in all running events. Field events begin at 9:00 running events
begin at 11:00 P.M.
9:00am FIELD EVENTS (ONLY 3 entries per team)
LONG JUMP - (CAFETERIA STYLE)
Girls run through 9:00-9:30; jumps 9:30-10:30
Boys run through 10:45-10:15; jumps 10:15-11:30
HIGH JUMP - girls, boys
SHOT PUT - girls, boys
DISCUS - boys, girls
TRIPLE JUMP - (cafeteria style)
boys, run through 9:00-9:30; jumps 9:30-10:45
girls, run through 9:45-10:15, jumps 9:15-10:30
11:00am RUNNING EVENTS (ONLY 1 entry per team)
1. 4 X 1600m Relay
2. 4 X 100m Low Hurdles Girls (4 athletes per team)
3. 4 X 100m Low Hurdles Boys (4 athletes per team)
4. 4 X 800m Relay
5. 4 X 100m Relay
6. Distance Medley (1200 - 400 - 800 - 1600)
7. Sprint Medley (100- 100- 200- 400)
8. Mile Medley (200 - 200 - 400 - 800)
9. 3x 200m Intermediate Hurdles (3 athletes per team)
9. 4x 200m Relay
10. 4 X 100m Weight person relay vs. Coaches
11 . 4x 400m Relay

Lauderdale Lakes Middle School Presents:
The 1 st ANNUAL Lauderdale Lakes Viking Relays
All events will be scored. It is our intention to present Broward County with a high quality team developmental track meet that will serve as a springboard to the outdoor season. The ultimate goals are to promote experience, competition, total team participation and fun.
PLACE: BOYD ANDERSON HIGH SCHOOL
Only 1/4th pyramid spikes are allowed!!!
COACHES PLEASE NOTE:
1. Entries will be done online at www.fl.milesplit.com This will be open to the first sixteen (16) schools that register for the meet. Its the coachs responsibility to register their team.
2. Entry Fee: $100.00 per gender team, $200.00 for both teams.
3. Coaches will pick up their packets from the infield at the timing tent.
Entry fee will be due at this time or your team will not participate.
4. All running events are timed finals.
5. Each athlete will get three attempts in the shot put, discus, LJ and TJ
6. The meet will be scored on HYTEK.
7. Admissions for this event will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
8. Full snack bar, T-shirts will be sold, Action photos will be available for sale, and other food vendors will be on site.
THERE IS NO TIME SCHEDULE. ALL EVENTS ARE RUN SEQUENTIALLY
All running events are girls first followed by the boys.
***Entries for the 2017 Lauderdale Lakes Viking Relays are to be submitted on-line at www.fl.milesplit.com . The deadline for entries is 5:59pm, WEDNESDAY, April 20, 2017. There will be no additions, substitutions, or updates allowed after registration is closed.
Field Event Format: This is supposed to be a developmental event. In all field events you must enter three athletes per event and the team results are based on the best performances of three different athletes.
Reporting for Events: Only ONE call will be made for all events. Your team will have five minutes to report or will be scratched from that event.
Scoring: Scoring will be on a basis of 6-5- 4-3- 2-1. All events will be scored.
Awards: Medals for the first three places in all events. Team championship trophies for Division Boys, Girls, and Boys & Girls combined.
