Additional Information

COACHES MEETING WILL BE DONE BY EMAIL. Please make sure that you have email listed for both coaches if separate boys and girls coach.

Registration ends at 11:59PM on September 25. THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONS OR CHANGES AFTER THAT.

We hope your season is getting back to normal. We want to thank you for registering for the FL Runners.com Invitational 18 which promises to have some great races.

The meet page has the race schedule, hotel information, meet and venue information.

Team vans, buses and coaches in cars will not be charged parking. BUT you must use Holloway Park Dr entrance off Hwy 98/Bartow drive. As you come thru the gate, vans, buses and coaches will drive to the right (will be signs). Coaches if you could have your orange 2017/2018 FHSAA Identification card with you that would be a huge help for the parking attendants if you are not coming by bus.

Team buses and Vans parking will be on the left side of the park road after going thru the gates. Across from lake. It will be the same parking as we had for the Jim Ryun and Seffner Inv.

You may run up to ten (10) in the Varsity races. PLEASE return your chips immediately after your race to the same area that you picked them up. When you pick up your packet please make sure you have all your chips and bibs for your athletes. You will also be given a trash bag with your packet. We are asking if you could help us put by cleaning up around your team tent area before you leave the event and just set your trash bag by one of the many trash cans around the grounds.

COLLEGE MEN WILL BE RUNNING THE 8K IN THIS FASHION. They will run the 3k course and then transition into the 5k course so it will be easier for the coaches to see more of the race.

Tent area. There will be signs located in the big field just to the right of the finish line straightway. Please keep all tents in this area.

Warm up area: If you go to the right of the start line and about 200m up there will be trails that you can run tomorrow and use to warm up before all races. This trail is plenty long enough so you do not have to worry about having enough area to warm up.

AWARDS: Indivduals For the ROC 1 - 30 will get medals. For all other races to include JV 1 - 15 will get medals. Teams - ROC 1st -3rd; Varsity/College 1st & 2nd; JV/Middle School 1st.

SCHEDULE:

Friday the gates will open at 1:00pm and packet pick up beginning at 1:30. First race will begin at 3:20 and go every 20 minutes after that. Please understand, I will stick to the schedule. I do not hold up races. Anyone who has been to one of my meets can attest to that.

Saturday the gates will open 6:00am and packet pick up will begin at 6:15. If you are in the area Friday, we highly encourage you to pick up packets on Friday. First race will be at 7:20. First two races will be 15 minutes apart and then after the second race they will again be 20 minutes apart.

Results will be posted on the Polk County Sports Association Trailer and will also be available on elitetiming.net
