This is a note of appreciation to recognize all the great people who helped make this meet happen: Starting with USF Coach Warren Bye -Thank you for an incredible day and experience for our high school athletes and allowing us to compete @ your amazing Track and Field Complex! Coach Bye was the first person I saw in the morning and my team and I walked out with him at the end of the meet! He and his staff worked hard all day to meet and exceed the needs of all our officials, our volunteers, the coaches, the spectators and our 1534 registered athletes! To Scott Peters and his Half Mile Timing crew-no way could we pull off this huge meet without your timing expertise! A big thank you to Nate Johnson and his group of officials who not only did a wonderful job at our meet, but many also worked the college meet the night before! To our invited high school teams and coaches--awesome job on coming "ready to run" and making this an incredible inaugural event! And last, but certainly not least, to our Steinbrenner High School athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, and friends-

From our athletes turning in some amazing performances knowing your coaches were pulling double duty and couldn't totally be there for you, to our parents and volunteers and friends--what a pleasure it was watching you totally embrace our responsibilities to this meet! With the help of everyone involved there will be no more wondering if hosting this event could be done--Because in my humble opinion you were incredibly and totally successful in all areas! And YES we are talking about doing it again next year!
