Additional InformationAbout the meet...Last year we had over 4200 athletes sign up and even with 1/3 of the teams dropping out because of a hurricane on the horizon, over 3000 still competed in the race! This meet, which started in 2000 as a small grassroots gathering, has grown into the third largest cross country race in the country. The meet has attracted teams from Georgia, Kentucky, and New York. It is nationally sanctioned by the IAAF and already for the 2005 meet we have commitments from teams as far away as New Mexico. In Florida, the majority of the teams in the state turn out and virtually every team that is a state contender. Come be a part of this great, FUN event that even with the size and incredibly competition keeps the focus on fun and the love of the sport! NCAA D2 South Pre-Regioanls This college division of this meet will also serve as the Pre-Regional meet for the NCAA South Region. Because of this, we will be joined from many new college teams from all over the Southern US. |
