Senior Boys Team Scores: LaBelle Second Best Team, Loses Five Of Top Seven Todd Grasley Dec 09, 2015

We've seen the depth of Belen Jesuit in our team scores by grade feature all week long, but how about LaBelle. The boys rank second behind Belen and finished 4th at the 2A Cross Country Finals with the help of four seniors including Omar Figueroa who finished 11th and Enrique Jimenez who was right behind in 12th. Who had the best teams based on the class of 2016? We rank them all! 

Junior Team Scores: Plant Lead By Class Of 2017 Standouts Todd Grasley Dec 08, 2015

Coach Roy Harrison's Plant Panthers finished 6th at the 4A Cross Country Finals guided by six out of seven junior class runners.  The squad was our top team from the class of 2019, followed right behind by Sarasota and Fort Myers by only ten points! Plant, Sarasota, Winter Park, and North Port all members of 4A are four of the top five teams. That experience should make for one fun state meet next November!

3A state champions Creekside have the top junior team score in the state. Five of the Knights top seven were from the class of 2017 making them the favorite to repeat and sit atop the podium. Fort Myers, Satellite, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Viera round out the top five. Where does your squad stack up?

Depth is everything. Who will the state championship teams of tomorrow be? We break down our team rankings by scoring each team with ONLY sophomores in their line up. Belen Jesuit had the top freshmen and also has the top runners based on the class of 2018 lead by Joshua Collins, but don't count out Bolles they are only eight points back.

Our Lady of Lourdes has a plethora of young talent waiting in the wings lead by Elizabeth McCann, the only class of 2019 runner to make the varsity roster in 2015. The Bobcats have three girls under 21 minutes including McCann, Isabelle Areces, and Gabriela Garcia-Linares putting them at number one in our freshman class team scores.
