2009 4A-Boys' Track & Field State Champs!

The atmosphere was electric on Saturday as the Flagler Palm Coast High School Boys Track Team won their 2nd State Title in 3 years!! This is a group of young men that set a goal and achieved it. The team has sacrificed and worked harder than any team in the state this season and they proved it time and time again.
FPCHS Boys Track Team is the 2009 - 4A State Track & Field State Champions! They won every meet this season except two early on (losses by 8pts. And 1 11 pts.) This includes: multiple invitational wins and their 5th consecutive 5-Star Conference and District Championships by over 100pts. each!
And despite what we might consider a disappointing state meet, these boys showed they were STILL the BEST team in the state of Florida despite the adverse weather conditions, the pressure and expectations. We may have been one of the first state champion teams ever, that did not have a single individual champion. This was a true
