Congratulations on your fine performances at the Hagerty invitational. Everyone who ran has now experienced a true feel of what XC is.It's heat in the early races.Wet and rainy maybe hot maybe cold with that.Hills on some courses too.Even mucky or swampy may go with the hot or cold. It's called Fall or Autumn.Transitional weather. You never know what you will get. Then there is that perfect day.Dry,cooler, and no humidity.Combine that with the perfect fast course and you have every runners dream!Regardless of the weather or the course the RACE goes on.Great job dealing with the elements today.Be a racer, whatever your pace,or finishing time remember it IS a race.

Ok so Sunday is tagging day.LOL.So i tag most if not all pics. Why? Because it captures the essence of the race and the grit of CC.And lets you see the people in front of you and behind you.It lets you see and remember the course, the hills, the muck.Something you may look back at and say i remember that hill, that deep sand, that trail, that muck,so your pic may not be that great but these are action pics. You may say look who i ran with or wow look at the huge pack I'm in.Look how many people i ran with and finished in front of.And for some a distant pic may be the only pic.Depends on who is taking the pics and you end up in them.Click on any pic it enlarges and you will see yourself in it,even if distant.Look at your competitors and teammates pics.Everyone is hurting. Not just you.Remember that.Just went thru 700+ pics of FL rr.com.There are many photographers at each meet. And some won't post for weeks.Enjoy.

Thank you to whom ever has learned to tag photos.I have done this for yrs.I found out last spring that most athletes didn't know they had a profile.I spent 4 hrs. just on the MDB pics. After going thru 1000 ky pics. Ciara went from 29 to 71 in about a week.40 i tagged.Tagging teams in 2 states is difficult and time consuming.cross referencing results w pics of those you know are on a team, but never met, with results times to figure it out. Some meets have 2000 pics not sub categorized. So glad to know after all these yrs. Help is on the way.Good luck MVA.and congratulations to Conner Bergin on his new school 5k record.

To all MVA T&F/CC athletes:BELIEVE.Believing is the first step to making a dream a reality.Believe in yourself, believe in your goals, believe in your ability, believe in your dreams, believe that you can mentally and physically take yourself to a level you've never gone before.Regardless of your current ability-- believe in where it is you want to go.
