Team Announcements
The 2010 Womens cross country team has set new school records in overall team split and top individual time. Darroneshia Lott has shattered the school record for a 5k while teammate Crystal Wachob is not far behind. Rounding out the top 5 is Taylor Gosseen, Jami Smith and Jasmine Pierce. Congratulations to all these ladies and the rest of the team for their hard work and accomplishments.
Congrats to the Lady Eagles on winning the 2010 3A State Championship. All 3 relays were State Champs again for the 2nd year in a row. The Eagles also took home individual State titles in the 300 hurdles, 200 meters, and the 800. All State performances were also accomplished in the shot put, discus, 100, 400 and 1600 meters.
Pine Forest track & field is happy to announce that Dacia Mays has verbally agreed to attend the University of Alabama on a full track scholarship. Congratulations to her and her family on a job well done.
Congratulations to Darroneshia Lott for her 5th place finish at the FHSAA CC State Championship along with Crystal Wachob who finished 7th. This marks the first time in school history that 2 runners made it to the podium in Cross Country. Another congratulations to Darroneshia Lott for being named the Cross Country "Runner of the Year" by the Pensacola News Journal.
