Arroyo Blasts 4:10.35 Meet Record at Holy Trinity Invitational

Colonial senior Andres Arroyo made the national leading time of 4:10.35 look easy on Friday night at the Holy Trinity Invitational. Winning the event by a large margin, the University of Florida signee had splits of 61 and 2:04 on his way to the meet record time.

Arroyo is fresh off of his big third place finish at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle. There he ran against some of the top high school middle distance runner in the nation on the over-sized indoor track with a personal best of 1:51.10. That performance earned him flrunners.com Athlete of the Week honors.

His time at the Holy Trinity Invitational places him at 19th on the all-time Florida high school boys Mile/1600m rankings.
