Through admission that was collected at today\'s flrunners.com Invitational IV, the new scholarship fund received a great start.
The total money collected for the scholarship account added up to $1965. That is slightly better than expected.
With that money, flrunners.com will be able to award scholarships to deserving college-bound seniors who have excelled academically (at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA), show leadership on and off the course, and will be an athlete on their track or cross country team in college.
It remains to be determined how many scholarships will be handed out from this sum; however, it will be at least two (one male and one female).
Details of how to apply for this scholarship will be available in December or January.
