Is there a more dominant ladies team in the state than Miami Northwestern? The Bulls racked up an astounding 252.5 points to win by almost over 200 over runner-up Carol City at the 3A Region 4 Championships while their male counterparts beat out Boyd Anderson to win as well.

In the field events freshman Taranique Alexander took home titles in the long jump and triple jump while Briana Eskridge was second in both the triple and high jumps. The trio of Cameron, Dykes, and White went 1-2-3 in both the shot put and discus to score a combined 48 points. Lloydricia Cameron's 166-08 in the discus is a new season best, Florida #1 and US#2! She seems to be getting better each week. Can't wait to see what the state meet has in store.

Freshman Twanisha Terry ad junior La'Kayla Harris finished first and second in the 100 and swapped places in the 200. Teammate Alexis Harrell was third and also advanced to the state meet. Jones completed the sweep with a win in the shot put and a mark of 58-03. He will compete for his third straight shot put state championship this weekend.
