Adidas Grand Prix: Floridians Off The Track & On The Town



Floridians invaded New York City and while they showcased their speed on the track they also had some fun off the track, sightseeing, and mingling with the professional athletes. Check out the photos of all the festivities from throughout the weekend!
 

      

Boys Dream 100 champion Kendal Williams and fellow Floridian Terry Jernigan who was third celebrated in Times Square with their biggest fan Mario. Andre Ewers poses with UCF alumni and current Adidas professional Octavious Freeman.



While the boys were out on the town, Girls Dream 100 champion Kaylin Whitney was celebrating with her biggest fans, her family. One thing is for sure when Whitney is racing she has one of the loudest cheering and support systems in the stands.

     

Sukhi Khosla and Coach Andrew Wills enjoy the Adidas swag and a trip to Lombardi's in Little Italy for some of their famous pizza. Wills even splurged and bought Khosla an Italian soda.


     

The sprinters weren't the only athletes posing with the pro's and "celebrities". Sarasota's Zack Summerall had the chance to hangout with two of the distance world's best Olympian's David Rudisha and Jenny Simpson. Simpson. also a Florida native and Summerall chatted it up about her time in the Sunshine State and running in races like the flrunners.com Invitational.
