Miami-Dade County Youth Fair Championship Featured Photo Album

South Florida's best headed to Larry and Penny Thompson Park for the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair. Lauren Archer of Ransom Everglades and Kurt Convey of Coral Reef came out with individual wins. Check out this photo of Lauren as well as 100's of others by Teri Bernhardt-Rodriguez!

Miami-Dade County Youth Fair Virtual Meet

Who are the best runners and teams in Dade County? That question will be answered when over forty teams and 500 high school athletes will compete at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair Championship held at Larry and Penny Thompson Park in Miami. The event also features middle school junior varsity and varsity races which take place in the morning, with the high school runners starting at 3:30 p.m. Check out our virtual meet based on 2014 season bests as well as a complete schedule of all the events. North Port XC Invitational

Bradt, Angelina Star At North Port XC Invitational

Adam Bradtmueller and Angelina Grebe of Sarasota took home individual titles in the elite races at the North Port XC Invitational and led their respestive Sailor squds to a boys and girls team title. Bradtmueller picked up his second win in two weeks after pulling away from Winderemere Prep's Franco Martins and teammate Zack Summerall after the second mile, crossing the line in 15:48.30. Grebe dominated the girls race winning by nearly 20 seconds over Emily English of George Jenkins in a time of 18:53.20. Flrunners.com was on-site with race videos, interviews, and over 2,500 photos. North Port XC Invitational Featured Photo Album

Tom Connor braved the elements along with hundreds of runners and nearly five dozen teams at the North Port XC Invitational. Check out the muddy images along with over 2,500 others. That's a lot of photos. Chances are you will see one of yourself or maybe a couple!

North Port XC Invitational Virtual Meet

North Port High School will host one of the largest meets this weekend as teams from across the state and southwest Florida compete in the North Port XC Invitational. The event which had 52 teams entered this year will up the ante with 60 squads toeing the line throughout the course of the morning. The girls elite race will start at 7:30 a.m. followed by the boys, then girls and boys invitational and girls and boys junior varsity races. Hey Flrunners! I hope everyone has ran some great first races and gotten some fast times. Based on all the results I've seen, it seems like it's going to be an amazing season! It's been a while since I've blogged, but I've got so much to talk about. So let's get started.

UF Mt. Dew Invitational Featured Photo Album

Over 100 teams, six races, collegiate, and high school. The UF Mt. Dew Invitational was jam packed with action and great performances. Flrunners.com photographer Jeff Adams was on-site and captured 3,529 photos of all the action including this picturesque shot of the start of the boys varsity race.

UF Mt. Dew Invitational Virtual Meet

Over 100 high school and college teams will take to the Mark Bostick Golf Course on the campus of the University of Florida for the UF Mt. Dew Invitational. The college runners will start the meet at 7:55 a.m. with the varsity and junior varsity races to follow. VHS Buffalo Invitational

Sophomores Torino, Fox Emerge Victorious At VHS Buffalo Invitational

The polo grounds in The Villages, a golf cart community of more the 75,000 retirees, welcomed 20+ local teams Thursday afternoon for the VHS Buffaloes Invitational. The charter school, for the employess of the thriving community, played host school for what the Coach Chris Murray remembers as “at least the 9th or 10th meet here”. This course is also home to the Lake/Sumter county championships, and will host the 2A district 6 meet this year as well.
