Alexa Cruz - Junior @ St. Thomas Aquinas High School
The 2014 4A state champ in the 3,200m was on point at the Louie Bing Classic running a state leading 10:51.22 in her season opener. The time was the second fastest of her career behind only her 10:43.79 at last year's Texas Relays and nearly 30 seconds faster than her nearest competitor. Cruz was second in the 1,600m with the state's second fastest time (5:09.48) behind Lauren Archer of Ransom Everglades (5:07.48)
