St. Thomas Aquinas rising junior Khalifa St. Fort, who trains with Trinidad and Tobago Olympian Ato Boldon, won T&T's first ever silver medal in the 100m at the IAAF World Youth Championships. St. Fort's silver along with a bronze won in 2005 by Kelly Ann Baptiste are the country's only two medals won at the World Youth Championships. Former East Ridge star turned Nike pro Kaylin Whitney was a part of history, when she joined English Gardner, Allyson Felix, and Jenna Prandini as the anchor leg in Team USA's world leading 41.96 4x100m relay recently in Monaco. According to stats guru Howard Willman, "it was also the fastest time ever by an American foursome that included at least one Junior (Whitney).
