Hill, Hintze Set Intermediate 3000 Records

ORLANDO--The National Intermediate 3000 Meter AAU Club records formily held by Floridians Kimi Rucks and Tes Wube were broken Wednesday. Tyler Hill coming all the way from Los Angeles broke Wube's record with a time of 9:26.24, while Amanda Hintze, who should be starting Lyman High School this fall, destroyed the former national record with a time of 10:41.26 for 3000 meters.

Kinsley Dinnel of the Southeast Los Angeles Roadrunners also set a national intermediate record in the Boys 2000m Steeplechase. Dinnel ran a time of 6:30.00, beating the 6:43.64 time of Florida's Erick Ward of Suncoast High School.
