The Pine Crest girls broke the streak of runner-up finishes after finishing behind Bolles the past four years. This year, the Panthers defeated the Bulldogs running an 18:41 team average, the 4th best team average in Florida State Finals history, scoring 29 points (8th lowest in State history). The Trinity Prep boys notched their fourth straight 2A championship scoring 50 points and boasting a team average of 15:56.17 and a 1-5 split of 45.50s.
