It's no secret Hurricane Irma is on her way to Florida. However, we have our own "Hurricane" in the the running community. A couple of years ago our writer Andy Warrener gave the nickname to Bailey Hertenstein as she rolled through competition in the Sunshine State.
In 21, completed cross country races in Florida since her freshman year, the now Newsome senior, has lost only one race which came at the 2014 4A Cross Country Finals where she was 15th. Hertenstein transferred from Riverview for her senior year.
