Justin Braun, running out of lane 8, produced a time of 47.22 to win the 400 contest in the 15-16 division at the AAU Junior Olympic Games. He led a contingent of three sprinters who clocked impressive sub 47.50 second marks. Khamari Terrell and Erriyon Knighton rounded out the top 3 with 47.43 and 47.48 efforts, respectively.
Braun, a rising sophomore, has now officially wrapped up a lengthy season that included a Division 1 State Championship victory and a sixth place finish at New Balance Nationals in his signature event, the 400.
