McNatt, Lastra, Hendrix Punch Tickets to Foot Locker

Carly McNatt, Valerie Lastra, and Alyssa Hendrix punched their ticket to Foot Locker Nationals with their stellar performances at Foot Locker South.

IMG freshman, McNatt, was the first Florida finisher in a state leading time of 17:06 to finish fifth overall. Lastra was the next top ten finisher, cruising through the line in a time of 17:25 to finish sixth. Hendrix rounded out Florida's qualifiers with her 17:30 ninth place finish.

All three ladies continue their national qualifying careers from last season and Hendrix ties the Florida record for most trips to Foot Locker by any Florida girl -- with three consecutive trips to San Diego.

St. Andrew's junior and 2A state runner-up, Eleanor Tymorek, just missed out on qualifying for nationals with a 12th place, 17:45.5 to close out her strong season.

Caitlin Wilkey was Florida's final athlete to break the 18 minute barrier on the McAlpine course, finishing in the top 20 to run 17:56.3. She was followed by Stephy Ormsby six places back, who cruised through in 18:03 to cap off her breakout senior year and her Chiles teammate, Alyson Churchill, who ran 18:14.
