Northeast alumna and current USC star sprinter, Jan'Taijah Ford, raced her way to a then US No. 1 400m time in 2019 with her Great Southwest meet record of 51.57.
Ford crushed the 400m field by nearly two whole seconds to finish as Florida's top 400m athlete of the 2019 season and the no. 2 400m athlete in the nation.

The multi-time Florida state champion went on to become Florida's Gatorade Track and Field athlete of the year, finish third in the 400m at New Balance Nationals Outdoor, and awaits to start her official first year of college competition after this outdoor season was canceled due to Coronavirus.
