Complete repaly from the Team Boss CO Mile on June 27th.
On Saturday, July 25th, Team Boss, a Colorado based professional training group, will come to Indiana Wesleyan University to race a non-elevation mile attempting to improve on new PR's they set just about a month ago at the Team Boss Colorado Mile.
Many of the same athletes from the Colorado Mile will come out to race, at this time we do not have a confirmed entry list. The race is not open to the public and will be a private event and is set to go off at 9:30pm. The event is being host by Indiana Wesleyan University as well as The Carmel Project.
Last month in Colorado, Emma Coburn, Cory McGee and Dani Jones all ran under the previous all-time Colorado best women's mile, with Coburn winning in 4:32.72. Their goal this time in Indiana is to do just the same, run the fastest mile on Indiana soil and improve upon their PR's. In the process they raised $30,000 for the Sach's Foundation. This time, they will race for another non-profit, Destiny Rescue. The Destiny Rescue is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing children trapped in exploitation and the sex trade. Every $1500 raised is enough to free a child and put them into a safe home.
