Black Out-Kicks Competition to Win AAU National XC 3k Title

Cambridge Christian seventh grader Eliana Black kicked to win the 11-12 year old AAU National Cross Country Championship 3k this weekend.

Her 10:13.24 performance not only made Black victorious on the Apalachee Regional Park course, but is the fastest cross country 3k by any middle school Florida girl to date and his a huge PR from her course record performance of 10:31 at the FLYRA Middle School State Championships this past October.

Take a listen to her post race thoughts after a very successful seventh grade season that earned her a back-to-back middle school state title, an FHSAA 1A Cross Country State Championship runner-up finish, and now an AAU National Cross Country Championship title.
