Next Friday on March 19th, the Set Goals Not Limits Distance Showcase at Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, Florida expects to gather some of Florida's top high school distance runners and beyond in a rare open meet opportunity this spring for athletes to gather from various regions of the state rather than localized high school meet competition.
Some of the big names in the early entries include Gabe Montague, Caroline Wells, Sam Austin, Caroline Lehman, Bradley Anderson Ball, Isabella Babilonia, and many others certain to sign up for the three distances offered of 800 meters, 1600 meters, 3200 meters, and a distance medley relay to conclude the event. All teams and athletes can register online on flrunners.com before the deadline of March 17th at 10 PM ET.
The meet will be live-streamed right here on MileSplit.com and flrunners.com as well as featured and showcased nationally. The meet is also open for out-of-state competitors as well to join these elite fields expected to be assembled. A good racing opportunity for elites from other states to make the trip down south to Florida to run some quality times against tough competition in good weather.
