Watch Shawnti Jackson Run NC No. 1 All Time 100m

Class of 2023 superstar Shawnti Jackson was at it again this weekend, this time posting US No. 1's in the 100m and 200m. Jackson made the trip to Florida for the Pure Athletics Sprint Meet, where she joined a national caliber field.

(Thank you Shawnti for providing us the videos!)

In the prelims, the wind was reading +3.6 and Jackson took advantage of it. The sophomore clocked 11.13, dipping below the all-conditions state record in the 100m of 11.14 by Gabby Mayo in 2007. She backed it up in the finals, proving she did not need the wind to make our jaws drop. Jackson flew to a 11.28 in the final, in legal wind, giving her the No. 2 all-time wind legal time.

It is only a matter of time before Jackson gets the perfect race with legal wind.

Doubling back in the 200m, Jackson was not satisfied with only one personal best on the day. She shot out of the blocks and took the turn aggressively to get out to an elite start. She did not slow down the home stretch and clocked a wind-legal NC No. 3 all-time 23.15! Her mark is also US No. 1 this season!

Shawnti Jackson is a superstar blooming before our eyes. The sophomore has so much time ahead of her, and is already rewriting the record books. Jackson currently has the US No. 1 times this season in the 100m, 200m, and 400m. What's next for the young superstar?
